“To be announced as a race driver for Dale Coyne Racing in INDYCAR is a dream come true. It feels like a perfect step for me after a good season in Super Formula with Honda in Japan. I had a positive experience in my first test with an Indy car at Mid-Ohio, during which the team welcomed me straight away. It is a great group of people and I already feel confident and comfortable here. I’d like to thank the whole team and Team Goh for this amazing opportunity and for believing in me. It’s great to continue a relationship that started early in 2019 together with Honda. The racing in IndyCar feels great and I feel really excited to join the most difficult single-seater series.”
